Description

DMC is the pre-approved Environmental Contractor by the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) to bid on Lead Hazard Remediation (LHR) & General Construction projects located in the State of Michigan. The construction environmental consultants/construction managers on this project are CLEAR Corps/LEAP Detroit.

These services are provided as a grant to the low income home-owners with small kids and Lead in the property. The goal of the project is to provide a lead safe and healthy environment to the kids. These are State funded projects. All projects are performed as per the guidelines set by State (MDCH), (MIOSHA), Federal (HUD), (EPA), (OSHA) and Local (City of Detroit) Guidelines.

  • Structural- LHR
  • Masonry & Concrete- LHR
  • Carpentry (Rough & Finish)-LHR
  • Drywall & Painting- LHR
  • Landscaping-LHR

The brief Scope of services includes but not limited to

  • Replacement of Lead based Doors, Windows, Cabinets
  • Covering Lead based siding with Vinyl
  • Covering Fascia & Soffit with aluminum trim
  • Covering the floors
  • Asbestos abatement from floor tiles, insulation, transite etc.
  • Mold Remediation
  • Encapsulation
  • Replacing/Installing drywall and insulation
  • Painting Exterior & Interior
  • Soil Remediation
